Lindenhurst crash sends passenger to hospital, leaves driver slightly hurt, cops say
The driver of a car suffered minor injuries, while a passenger was hospitalized with broken bones, after a crash late Monday night in Lindenhurst, police said.
Suffolk County police said the crash occurred on North Queens Avenue at 10:10 p.m.
Police said the driver, identified as a 25-year-old man from East Islip, told them he lost control of his 2015 BMW on wet pavement and crashed into a parked car.
The passenger, a 24-year-old man from Lindenhurst, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with a broken collarbone and ankle.
His condition was not immediately known Tuesday.
No charges were filed.
