Police said the death of a man whose body was found in the bathtub of a Lindenhurst home Wednesday was "non-criminal," but said investigators still have not determined the cause.

Suffolk County police said detectives are waiting for the medical examiner's office to make a determination.

Police and emergency personnel responded to the early-morning 911 call that reported "a man not breathing." That call was received at 6:12 a.m.

Police said Wednesday afternoon only that the investigation was continuing.

The identity of the man has not been released.
