A Long Island Rail Road train car inspector came in contact with the third rail at the Babylon yard shortly after 6 p.m. Sunday and has been taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, said LIRR spokeswoman Marjorie Anders.

Anders said there was a brief service delay but trains are now running on schedule.
