All eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway and the service road will be closed Tuesday night into Wednesday morning at Wicks Road in Brentwood, officials said.

The state Department of Transportation said it would be removing signs and doing pothole repairs in the area from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Eastbound motorists will be forced off the highway and service road at the Wicks Road exit ramp and will re-enter east of Wicks, DOT said.

In addition, the westbound HOV lane of the LIE in the area will be closed during the work, the agency said.
