Man, 19, critical after W. Babylon motorcycle crash
A 19-year-old man was critically-injured Monday when he lost control of his motorcycle on westbound Route 109 and crashed near the Sunrise Highway overpass in West Babylon, Suffolk County police said.
Police said Joseph Zheng of 9th Street, West Babylon, was operating his 1999 Yamaha on Route 109 when he lost control and crashed at 7:39 p.m.
He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip and admitted in critical condition, police said.
Police have still not determined the cause of the crash — and said the investigation was continuing Tuesday.
