Man accused of selling fake sports clothing

A Smithtown man was arrested Wednesday and charged with selling trademark counterfeit sporting goods apparel, police said.
Ronald Quinn, 46, operating out of The Sports Shop, 298 Maple Ave., had counterfeit NHL, NFL, MLB, and NBA merchandise with a street value of about $50,000, police said.
Quinn was to be arraigned Thursday in First District Court, Central Islip.
