A West Babylon man was arrested Monday and charged with robbing three GameStop video game stores six times since Oct. 30.

Police said Christopher Cullen was arrested Monday at 12:50 p.m. after he robbed a GameStop on Route 109 in West Babylon. Cullen, 31, of 17th Street, displayed a knife that had been tucked into his waistband and demanded cash before fleeing in a cab, police said.

Police said a 911 call led officers to stop the taxi and that the driver was unaware of the robbery.

Police said Cullen also robbed that GameStop store on Oct. 30, Dec. 1 and Dec. 8.

He also had robbed a GameStop store on Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore on Dec. 5, police said, and one on Deer Park Avenue in North Babylon on Thursday. It was not clear how much money was stolen.

Cullen was scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in First District Court in Central Islip.
