Man charged in prescription drug sale
A Westhampton man was arrested by the Southampton Town police Street Crime Unit Wednesday and charged with selling prescription depressant drugs, police said.
Eric D. Parker, 24, was charged with fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.
He is scheduled for arraignment in Southampton Town Justice Court, though no arraignment information was immediately available Thursday.
Police said the investigation is continuing. It was not immediately clear where Parker was arrested or what kind of drug he is accused of selling.
