An East Patchogue man has been arrested and charged with robbing a Holbrook Dunkin' Donuts last week at gunpoint.
Ryan Trepiccione, 26, of LaBonne Vie Drive, was arrested at his apartment Tuesday evening and charged with first-degree robbery, Suffolk County police said. He faces arraignment Wednesday in First District Court in Central Islip.
Police said Trepiccione walked into the Dunkin' Donuts on Furrows Road just after 5 p.m. on April 26, approached an employee, displayed a handgun -- and demanded cash. The employee handed over the money, police said, and Trepiccione fled.
It was not clear how police identified Trepiccione as the suspect in the crime.
