A man was killed Thursday after being ejected from his vehicle after he lost control and overturned the car in Moriches, Suffolk County police said.

Alius Kerezius, 41, whose address was not immediately known by police, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:38 p.m., police said.

Kerezius was driving a 2001 GMC Yukon east on Sunrise Highway when he attempted to exit the roadway at Exit 59, police said.

He lost control of the vehicle, it turned over and Kerezius was ejected, police said.
