A 30-year-old Medford man was arrested and charged with drunken driving after an early morning crash Tuesday in Blue Point, police said.

Todd Mahony of Rosedale Avenue suffered minor injuries in the crash, Suffolk County police said, and was treated at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue. He is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in First District Court in Central Islip.

Police said the crash occurred at about 2:50 a.m. on Montauk Highway just west of Division Avenue. Police said Mahony was driving a 2003 Acura. It was not immediately clear if a second vehicle was involved in the accident.

The road was closed in both directions between Pleasant Avenue and Division for investigation and cleanup. It was reopened just before 7 a.m.
