A Southampton man faces a felony drunken driving charge after allegedly running a stop sign on North Magee Street in Southampton early Thursday, Southampton Town Police said.

At about 12:45 a.m., police said Peter Ditalia, 33, failed to stop for the sign and was found to be intoxicated.

He was arrested, and police said he faces a felony charge of driving while intoxicated because of a previous DWI conviction in the last 10 years.

Arraignment information from the Southampton Town Justice Court was not immediately available.
