Man faces DWI charge in Southold crash

A South Jamesport man was arrested on a drunken-driving charge after being involved in a motor-vehicle crash Tuesday on Route 25 in Southold, police said.

John Nordin, 49, was driving at about 9:45 p.m. when he crashed his vehicle, Southold Town police said.

Police neither released details of the accident nor Nordin's arraignment information.

A department spokesman said Wednesday that Nordin is a chef at East End restaurants.
