Man faces DWI charge in train-trestle crash
A 23-year-old Bridgehampton man was arrested, charged with driving while intoxicated, after police said he lost control of his BMW early Wednesday -- crashing into a train trestle.
The accident occurred at about 3:20 a.m. on Butter Lane in Bridgehampton, Southampton Town police said.
Angel DeJesus, the driver of the 2000 BMW, was arrested and charged with DWI.
It was not clear if DeJesus was injured in the crash. Arraignment details were not immediately available Thursday.
