A man was found dead in a camper parked at the Southaven County Park campground in Shirley on Sunday morning, police said.

Suffolk County police officers arrived at the scene at 7:40 a.m., a department spokesperson said. The man was non-responsive.

The cause of death was unknown. Police did not consider the death to be criminal in nature.
