Man found with gunshot wound along William Floyd Parkway in Shirley
Suffolk police were investigating reports of a man found with a gunshot wound in Shirley Sunday night.
A police spokeswoman said the department received a call at 7:25 p.m. reporting an adult male with a gunshot wound along William Floyd Parkway near Tudor Road.
The man, who was alive when police responded, was transported for medical treatment, but authorities said late on Sunday they had no further information on his condition or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
