Man in crash charged with DWI
A Wading River man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Sunday after he lost control of his vehicle and caused a collision, Riverhead police said.
Douglas Carbone, 57, was driving on a traffic circle on Middle Road at 1:19 a.m. when he lost control and hit another vehicle, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Police determined Carbone was intoxicated and charged him with driving while intoxicated. He was arraigned on Sunday and released on his own recognizance, police said.
