Man killed in 2-car crash in Brentwood, cops say
Suffolk police are investigating a two-car crash in Brentwood on Tuesday night that left a male driver dead, police said.
Police said the crash happened about 8:30 p.m. on Route 111 just north of Willow Street. One of the drivers, a man, died of his injuries, police said, and the woman driving the other vehicle was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore with nonlife-threatening injuries.
Police did not identify the crash victim, and no further information was immediately available late Tuesday night.
