Man killed in hit-run in Brentwood
Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver involved in a crash Monday night that left one man dead in Brentwood.
The fatal crash occurred at about 8 p.m. on Calebs Path just south of Bushwick Avenue, Suffolk County police said.
Orlando Marquez, 38, of Brentwood, has been identified as the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Brentwood on February 18. The vehicle is described as possibly being white.
Marquez was found by a passerby, who called 911.
He was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.
Police ask anyone with information about the crash to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
