Both were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, police said.

Baldwin, who was shot in his right leg, had emergency surgery. Tucker was treated for a wound to her left thigh.

The two also were wounded in their upper bodies by broken glass and birdshot, police said.

The suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
