Man sought in Farmingville electronics theft
Sixth Squad detectives are searching for a man who stole $3,000 worth of electronics equipment from the Farmingville Kmart store in June, Suffolk County police said Tuesday.
Police said in a news release that the man stole televisions and other electronics from the Kmart at 2280 N. Ocean Ave. on June 11 and again on June 13.
The equipment from both thefts totaled $3,000, police said.
In each instance, the man left the store without paying and drove off in a tan 1997 Toyota Camry.
Police have released photographs of the man taken from the store's surveillance cameras.
