Fourth Squad detectives have released photographs of a suspect wanted for breaking into a Nesconset pet-grooming shop and stealing its cash register, Suffolk County police said Tuesday.

On April 16, a man smashed the glass front door of Lakeside Grooming, 292 Smithtown Blvd., entered the shop and removed a cash register, cash and checks worth about $708, police said.

Photos were taken by a video surveillance camera at the shop.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers, 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
