Man sought in Walmart TV theft

The Sixth Precinct crime section is looking for a man who stole a flat-panel television set from a Middle Island department store in February, Suffolk County police said.
Police have released photographs of the Feb. 24 incident taken from video surveillance. Police said the photos show a man in a black jacket and blue jeans walking out of the Walmart store at 750 Middle Country Rd. with the TV set.
The TV, a 40-inch Sony model, runs about $600.
Police said the suspect could have fled east on Route 25 in a 2001 green Ford Mustang.
