A Queens man died Sunday after being struck by a Lexus driven by a teenage motorist, Suffolk County police said.

Mahendra Punai, 28 of Richmond Hill, fell onto Wheeler Road while walking near the corner of Wheeler and Janice Lane in Central Islip at around 2:05 a.m., police said. Amanda Ibarra, 19, of Central Islip, was driving a 1999 Lexus south on Wheeler when she struck Punai, police said.

Ibarra was not injured. Punai was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
