A man wandering on the Long Island Rail Road tracks in Woodside delayed three eastbound trains late Friday morning before he could be subdued by police, a railroad spokesman said.

The unauthorized stroll caused delays to three eastbound trains, beginning with the 11:16 a.m. train from Penn Station due to arrive in Ronkonkoma at 12:37 p.m., Spokesman Rich Mendelson said. The man was removed from the railroad right of way just before noon and the railroad is now back on schedule.

The incident occurred just west of Woodside Station. No one was injured.
