Authorities used autopsy findings to confirm that the victim was Georgianna Woolsey, 62. She had lived for nearly two decades on the 15-acre wooded property at 218 Eastport-Manor Rd. with her husband, Robert.
The cause of the March 13 fire remains under investigation, police said Saturday.
At the time of the blaze, the owners faced eviction for nonpayment of more than $276,000 in property taxes.
When firefighters arrived at the foot of the home's long driveway, they were initially delayed by a locked gate, fire officials said. Firefighters said they found Robert Woolsey standing outside the burning, two-story house in a dazed state asking about his wife.
