Officials: 3 departments respond to Mastic Beach house fire

Firefighters from Mastic Beach, Mastic and Brookhaven responded to an early morning fire that damaged a home in Mastic Beach on Thursday, Suffolk County fire officials said.
The fire at the home on Overlook Drive was reported in a 911 call at 1:47 a.m.
Officials said a crew from Mastic Beach Ambulance also responded, but could not immediately say if there were injuries.
Suffolk County police could not immediately comment and additional details were not immediately available.
A photo from the scene showed the lower level of the home engulfed in flames. The extent of any damage was unknown.
