Mastic man, 87, still missing, police say

Suffolk County police reissued a silver alert Sunday for an 87-year-old Mastic man five days after he first went missing.
Medio Figliolia, who suffers from dementia, was last seen standing in his driveway on Southaven Avenue on Wednesday at 7 a.m., police said.
Figliolia, who is 5 feet, 10 inches tall, balding, with a slim build, is possibly driving a 1994 Chevrolet sport van with the New York license plate 79 MCL, police said.

Silver alerts are issued when elderly individuals and adults with special needs are missing.
