Suffolk County police's Arson Squad is trying to determine how several vehicles at an automobile auction lot in Medford caught fire early Thursday.

Police and the Medford and Yaphank fire departments responded to an emergency call at about 1:30 a.m. for vehicles on fire at Insurance Auto Auctions Inc., at 66 Peconic Ave., authorities said.

Suffolk County Fire Rescue and Emergency Services said no injuries were reported.

A Suffolk police spokeswoman said several vehicles sustained heavy to minor damage from the fire.
