A Medford woman jogging in Coram on Tuesday afternoon was killed when she collided with a tractor trailer at an intersection, the Suffolk County Police Department said.

Kiesha McNeil, 38, was jogging north on Fife Drive about 2 p.m. when she continued heading north into the eastbound lane of Middle Country Road and "struck a 2023 Kenworth tractor trailer," the Suffolk police said in a news release.

McNeil was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Detectives with the department’s Sixth Precinct are investigating.

Motor Carrier Unit officers inspected the tractor trailer at the scene, according to the police. The truck driver was not injured.
