A Medford man was arrested and charged with exposing himself and committing a lewd act in front of an 18-year-old woman at a strip mall, police said Monday.

Justin Curry, 35, of Short Street, Medford, was charged with public lewdness, a misdemeanor.

Curry was sitting in a parked Chevrolet Cruze at Sunshine Square, 700 Patchogue-Medford Rd., Medford, about 2 p.m. June 6, police said, when he called the teen over to his vehicle.

When she approached, he exposed himself, and committed the lewd act, police said. She ran away and notified authorities, police said.

Fifth Squad detectives investigated, and arrested and charged Curry Sunday night, police said.

He was arraigned Monday in First District Court, Central Islip, and released on $250 bail pending his next court appearance.
