Minor injuries in Lindenhurst crash

Separate accidents involving five vehicles left one person with minor injuries Thanksgiving evening in Lindenhurst, Suffolk County police said.
The first accident, involving three vehicles, occurred on Straight Path near 42nd Street at 9:13 p.m., police said.
Police said one person suffered minor injuries and was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment.
The second accident involved two vehicles and occurred 14 minutes later on Eighth Street and West Montauk Highway, police said. One of the vehicles overturned, but no one was injured, police said.
There were no arrests in either incident, police said.
