A missing 13-year-old Rocky Point girl returned home Wednesday evening, Suffolk police said.

Her parents had reported that the teen, who could be depressed, had not been seen since she left their home on Pearl Road about 9 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

Investigators were still looking into the incident Wednesday night. The teen returned home about 7:30 p.m.

Detectives had asked that anyone with information concerning the incident call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477, or fugitive/missing persons, 631-852-6040.
