Missing Greenlawn man found
A Greenlawn man with dementia who had been reported missing from his home late Saturday night has been found unharmed, Suffolk police said.
Police had issued a silver alert early Sunday for Thomas Lizzo, 79, who disappeared from his Chauser Drive residence at 11:45 p.m. Saturday, police said.
Suffolk County's silver alert program was instituted to help spread information about elderly people or people with special needs who have been reported missing.
