A Greenlawn man with dementia who was missing since 8 a.m. Wednesday has been found, police said Friday.

Alfred Tobias, 61, of Paumanack Village Drive, was last seen at Community Market, 108 Depot Rd. in Huntington Station, police said.

He was found uninjured at a hospital, a police spokesman said. The spokesman did not know what time he was located or why he was at the hospital.

Suffolk County police had issued a Silver Alert for Tobias. The system is designed to publicize when a person with mental or cognitive disorders goes missing.
