Motorcyclist killed in 3-vehicle crash in East Hampton, cops say
A man on a motorcycle was killed Sunday in a three-vehicle crash in East Hampton, police said.
Christian Bermeo, 28, of East Hampton, was heading south on Springs Fireplace Road at 5:11 p.m. when he collided with a 2018 Honda driving north that was making a left turn into Cedar Ridge Drive, East Hampton Town police said.
The impact threw Bermeo from his 2013 Yamaha motorcycle and he was hit by a 2014 Nissan going north, police said.
He was pronounced dead at Southampton Hospital, police said.
The driver of the Honda, Susan Israelson, 79, was taken to the same hospital to be evaluated, and the driver of the Nissan was not injured, police said.
Police asked anyone with information on the accident to call them at 631-537-6989.
