Motorcyclist critical after W. Islip crash
A West Babylon man was seriously injured Friday night when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in West Islip.
Thomas Carini, 33, was driving his 2004 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Anchorage Drive east of Snedecor Avenue when he crashed about 7:40 p.m.
He sustained severe head injuries and was admitted in critical condition to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, Suffolk County police said.
The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check. The investigation was ongoing.
