A motorcyclist died after he collided with a car in Brentwood Thursday morning, Suffolk police said.

Stephen Milliner, 28, of Brentwood, was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore where he was pronounced dead after the crash.

Maicol Teodovich, 45, of East Northport, the car's driver, was issued a summons for driving an unregistered vehicle. Teodovich was not injured in the crash, police said.

Milliner was operating a 2012 Yamaha motorcycle west on Suffolk Avenue, west of Lukens Avenue at 10:45 a.m., police said.

Teodovich, driving a 1996 Toyota Corolla, was traveling east at that time, police said, and attempted to make a left turn across the westbound lane into a parking lot. Milliner tried to avoid the car, police said, but crashed into it.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks, police said.
