Motorcyclist seriously hurt in Commack Road crash, police say
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash Monday morning on Commack Road in Brentwood, police said.
A southbound Ford Focus “crossed into the northbound lane and struck a southbound motorcycle,” north of Spur Drive North, at about 10:20 a.m., Suffolk County police said.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a male, was taken to a hospital with a serious leg injury, police said. The driver of the Focus, identified only as a female, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, police said.
Commack Road was temporarily closed during the subsequent investigation.
