A Mount Sinai man was arrested and charged with drunken driving after police said he crashed into a Jeep in Terryville late Thursday, sending it careening into the front porch of a nearby home.

No one in the house on Jayne Boulevard was injured. Neither driver was injured.

Suffolk County police said Christopher Keushgarian, 29, of Mount Sinai, was arrested at the scene and charged with driving while intoxicated.

He was held overnight at the Sixth Precinct in Selden and is scheduled for arraignment Friday in First District Court in Central Islip.

Police said Keushgarian, driving a 1999 Dodge Durango, collided with a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee at the intersection of Jayne and Winston Street about 11:45 p.m. -- sending the Jeep into the porch.

Police said the impact caused minor damage.

There were no passengers in either vehicle, police said.

The identity of the second driver, a woman, was not released. She was not charged.
