MTA: Eastbound LIRR train strikes woman
A eastbound LIRR train struck a woman just west of the Sayville railroad station about 10 p.m. Friday, an MTA spokesman said.
The condition of the woman was not immediately known.
The train was the 8:53 p.m. out of Jamaica, originally due into Montauk at 11:51 p.m., according to Salvatore Arena, the spokesman.
