Couple struck and killed by car while crossing Ocean Avenue in Ronkonkoma

The Hungarian Hall on Ocean Avenue in Ronkonkoma was all set for a surprise party Saturday night, about 80 guests waiting inside to celebrate a Central Islip man's 60th birthday. Narciso Saravia and his wife Maria were crossing Ocean Avenue between Express Drive North and Michigan Street when they were struck and killed by a southbound 2007 Hyundai Elantra, according to Suffolk police.
