A New Suffolk man was arrested Monday and charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property after police said he stole a shotgun from a home in Mattituck.

Andrew Stulsky, 37, of 515 Orchard St., was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Monday and charged with the burglary on Theresa Drive in Mattituck, Southold Town police said Tuesday.

Arraignment details were not immediately known.

Police said that Stulsky entered the home Monday and "removed a shotgun without permission of the owner."

The shotgun was recovered when Stulsky was arrested.
