No injuries reported in Farmingville blaze

Volunteers from five Suffolk County fire departments battled an early morning fire Wednesday at a residence in Farmingville.

Police and fire officials said no one was injured in the blaze on South Howell Avenue that was reported at 2:27 a.m.

Firefighters from Farmingville, Holtsville, Ronkonkoma, Selden and Medford responded to the call. Officials said the cause of the fire is under investigation.
