No one hurt in Brentwood fire: officials
Firefighters from at least four departments were on scene Thursday afternoon at a fire that has closed down Nimitz Avenue at Bradley Street in Brentwood, officials said.
Suffolk County police said the fire at the home on Bradley was reported at 2:35 p.m. They said the home was fully engulfed, but all occupants had escaped and no one had been injured.
Fire officials said volunteers from Brentwood, Deer Park, Bay Shore and Islip were fighting the blaze at 3:15 p.m.
Police said the arson squad is investigating.
