Police seek robber of North Babylon bank
A bank in North Babylon was robbed Thursday morning, police said in asking for help in nabbing the suspect.
The robber gave the Capital One teller a note demanding cash at about 9:50 a.m., and when he got the money, he ran away from the branch at 1383 Deer Park Ave., police said.
The robber appeared to be about 6 feet tall and had a thin build, police said. He was wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a light-colored T-shirt and blue jeans, police said.
Detectives ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
