Police: Man suspected in thefts from vehicles in Elwood

Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers said Friday a man rummaged through several vehicles in Northport before making off with some items on Vestry Court in Elwood.
Police released a photograph of the suspect taken from video surveillance in the area.
The suspect took "assorted personal items" from a vehicle on Vestry Court at about 5:25 a.m. on Nov. 7, police said.
The man then fled in an unknown vehicle.
The suspect has a medium build, at about 6 feet, 210 pounds, and is in his early 30s with a short crew cut or shaved head.
He was wearing camouflage pants and a flannel checkered jacket with a black hoodie.
