Northport's Steers Beach reopens

Steers Beach in Northport, which had been closed due to elevated bacteria levels, has reopened after water quality was found to be at an acceptable level, the county health department said Friday.

Remaining closed is Lloyd Harbor Village Park Beach in Lloyd Harbor.
