A Yonkers man who claimed to be the victim of a hit-and-run on the Ocean Parkway was arrested Monday on DWI charges, State Police said.

Troopers responding a report of a hit-and-run at about 5:51 p.m. Monday found John Han, 30, on the westbound side of the parkway near the Nassau-Suffolk line, according to a release.

Han told troopers a Nissan cut him off, causing him to hit a curb on the parkway shoulder and lose a front tire.

Police, however, said they noticed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from Han's breath as he was being interviewed. Han failed sobriety tests and was arrested, police said.

He produced a breath-analyzer reading of .14 percent, police said.

He is charged with driving while intoxicated. Arraignment information was not immediately available.
