Officials: Occupants escape raging Lake Ronkonkoma fire

Occupants of a Lake Ronkonkoma house escaped a raging fire without injuries Thursday night, officials said.
The fire broke out before 6:40 p.m. in a two-story, white house on Carroll Avenue.
By the time police arrived, the family was outside, a Suffolk County police spokeswoman said.
News 12 Long Island reported one person in the home uses a wheelchair.
